Scherzando

How to learn piano through play, experimentation, trial and error, and creativity

Learning to play the piano has never been so challenging. This book is designed to start the study of the piano with original music, by the author himself, of various styles that evoke exotic landscapes, funny scenes and genres of all kinds, not only with reading, but also with improvisation, imitation and team work.

A volume excellently illustrated by images and audios, with a clear and understandable structure that gradually introduces the fundamental elements of piano practice (fingerings, notes, nuances, positions ...) without giving up its more playful aspect. A card game is included that aims to create different class dynamics that allow interpretation to be worked from multiple perspectives.

«Scherzo» in Italian means game. The author chooses the word Scherzando as the title of the book thinking that it is perfectly adapted to his idea of learning an instrument through play, experimentation, trial-and-error and creativity as constant practices of this exciting journey that is about to begin.
